About Lucky Frog Films

Dean Kapsalis (Writer/Director) and Tommy Minnix (Producer) are co-founders of Lucky Frog Films LLC and focus on the development and production of short- and feature-length motion pictures.

Lucky Frog Films was initiated with the comedy-drama Jigsaw Venus.  The short film was a smashing success on the festival circuit around the world.  Completed in 2000, Jigsaw Venus screened in over 40 festivals and showcases worldwide and has won several prestigious awards, including an Honorable Mention for Short Filmmaking at the 2001 Sundance Film Festival, and the Audience Award for Best Short and Best Actress in a Short at the 2001 Buenos Aires Film Festival.

Their latest project, Sara Goes to Lunch, is currently screening at film festivals worldwide.
